Healthier living motivation

I want to combine two blogs in one. The first blog is about my experience with how I slowly became motivated into a healthier lifestyle. The next is about this guy Ian Clark who has a motivational story about a “Superfood” all-natural from the earth; Ian helped develop to save his life. His product is “Oceans Alive Marine Phytoplankton” It’s going be more on the informational side although, I still want make it interesting but definitely a powerful message.

Nick’s story

Being an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic. In the beginning, I felt un-motivated to eat well or exercise, non-acceptant of the fact. Living the same un-healthy lifestyle for 3 years after diagnosis, I started to experience some bad side effects. Surprise! “Knocking on the devils door, sometimes he answers” Soon after, I was sitting in a little white room at the clinic, waiting for my doctor to come back with results, of whatever it was? I told myself while waiting “ I don’t want a short life and I hate the smell of this place” I guess I had an epiphany? I took my advice. Today I’m living better, stronger and healthier life than I’ve ever been. There is no excuse to live unhealthy and unmotivated in my opinion there are always more alternatives. No matter what circumstances. Everybody has a learning style right? I’m a seeing, believing, touch a stove 7 times kinesthetic; I came to terms with my slow to learn disability. It is from that; I made the choice to live healthier. Nothing happened instantly, the little choices planted seeds, and before I knew it, I was half way up Jack’s bean stock. Fun. All I’m saying is life is good, consider possibilities, and don’t wait for good things to happen, because they won’t most of the time…

Ian’s story

This guy Ian Clark was basically dead, was overweight with a possible cancerous tumor. Doctors stating the worst possible outcomes and treatments, the guy was falling apart piece by piece. He was financially struggling and in the battle to fight, for life. Ian is pioneering founder of “Oceans Alive Marine phytoplankton” Alive to tell his the story, Ian’s product is very powerful!

Ian’s journey

Ian Clark had about several life-threatening conditions. Ian decided to pick an alternative world. He was very antsy about the medical field; he didn’t want to follow any prognosis. Ian got an opportunity to get a significant amount of funding, using it to start a business and experiment with different alternatives. On his journey of recovery, Ian stumbled upon a strain of Marine Phytoplankton called Nannochloropsis Gaditana witch is the best for human consumption, giving the body all building blocks for protein, new healthy cells and neurochemicals for the brain according to European scientists. At this point, Ian was already recovered to peak efficiency physically. Having enough experience with different strains of Marine Phytoplankton to find his way to the ultimate strain. Ian began to research into harvesting and producing; He wanted to grow the microalgae in a closed environment protecting the Marine phytoplankton from pollution, and contaminants making it very clean. Soon after Ian connected with European Engineers who built a photo-bioreactor; witch is a sealed environment including the clean seawater, pure Co2 and sunlight for the Marine Phytoplankton to grow at the best level of purity. Ian connected with Australian company with a natural preservative that Ian used for the Marine phytoplankton that was harvested, to keep all nutritional properties and life energy alive permanently. Ian Clark was on a journey of recovery and knowledge, not intending to sell anything; it happened to grow into something bigger. Eventually setting up an FDA-approved manufacturing facility for the most powerful Marine phytoplankton called “Oceans Alive”

What is Marine Pytoplankton? Whats so special about it? Why did it help Ian Clark?

My next blog, Im going to explain why Marine Phytoplankton is so powerful! The effects it has on the human body, the nutritional gaps it can cover and Why? It's the best brain food? Until next time!

Cacao

Most tempting chocolates! Hershey chocolate, Snickers, Kit kat, Twix, Milky Way, and Butterfingers. I confess, I have had plenty of experience. Sometimes I get the "chocolate craving"Why? Because It's Wonderful and Sweet. There is the processed chocolate and the raw form, also delicious, known as Theobroma cacao, no chemicals, sugar, fat, or dairy required.

History

Cacao is seed (nut) of a fruit, each cacao fruit (pod) contains anywhere from twenty to fifty  "Beans" inside surrounded by a pulp. Mesoamerican people have used cacao as food, medicine, and currency throughout central, and South America since before christ. Olmec Indians were believed to be the first to grow cacao as a crop. Later on the Mayans had migrated to Northern regions of South America taking the cacao with them and establishing plantations. To this day cacao is widely grown in Central and South America (Tohi, 2013).

Benefits

Cacao has numerous benefits for the human body. As stated in David Wolfe's book,"Superfoods: The Food and Medicine of the Future", the main nutrients found in cacao are the following:

  • Antioxidants: Protects the body from age related illnesses and shields our DNA from free-radical damage.
  • Magnesium: Supports the cardiovascular, relaxes muscles, increases brain power, increase flexibility, helps build strong bones, and increases alkalinity.
  • Iron: Is a part of oxygen carrying- protein called the hemoglobin that keeps blood healthy and helps with anemia.
  • Chromium: Is a important blood sugar balancing trace mineral.
  • Manganese: An essential trace mineral promoting the formation of hemoglobin.
  • Zinc: has a critical role in the immune system, liver, pancreas, sexual fluids, and skin.
  • Copper: Helps to build healthy blood and immunity.
  • Vitamin C: Important essential vitamin the body cannot naturally produce.
  • Omega 6 Fatty Acids: Healthy fat that is good for brain and heart function.
  • Phenylethylamine (PEA): Increases focus and alertness, also known as the "love chemical" of the body.
  • Anandamide: Known as the "bliss chemical"that is naturally produced after exercise.
  • Tryptophan: Critical for the production of serotonin, diminishes anxiety, and literally improves "stress-defense shield".
  • Serotonin: Primary neurotransmitter in the human body for the "stress-defense shield". Has similar chemistry to tryptophan, melatonin, and DMT.
  • Soluble Fiber: Helps human digestive system and increases bowel movements.

The Superfood, "Maca"

History

Maca is the highest- altitude crop on Earth. This superfood naturally can grow altidude of 14,000 feet. According to achrchiological evidence, maca has been grown in the Puruvian Andes in South America for over 2,600 years.

"Today the Quechua people, desendents of the Incan, continue to grow this superfood at it’s natural altitude of 9,000 -10,00 feet (2,700-3,000 meters)"  Legend has it that during the hieght of the Incan empire, Incan warriors would consume maca before entering battle to make them fiercly strong, but after conquering a city the Incan soldiers were prohibited from using maca, to protect the women from the exessive sexual desires from men. (David Wolfe, "Superfoods" pages 67-68)

Physical prospective

According to research, maca as an adaptogenic superfood increases energy, endurance, oxygen in the blood, physical strength, neurotransmitter production, and libido. It supports the endocrine system, the adrenals, and the thyroid. As an adapotogen, maca can provide more energy. According to most studies, adapotogens also boost immunity and increase the body’s overall vitality by 10 to 15 percent. Rather than addressing a specific symptom, adaptogens improve overall adaptability of the whole body to challenging situations and stress. (David Wolfe, "Superfoods"pages 70-72)

Superfoods

I’m going to be writing mostly about superfoods that are medicinal, which can be powerful and healing. The experience of each individual superfood is different; detoxification is apart of the process in allowing the body to feel a medicinal effect. The first step to change is to considering the possibility to learn and grow intuitively of how the body works. Superfoods, can work synergistically together creating extraordinary effects, bringing the body to a different level of cognition and understanding. Using superfoods, can promote; serotonin levels, dopamine levels, tryptophan, DMT, hormonal balance, endocrine system, cardiovascular, digestive system and ATP production.

This journey can be exiting, the possibilities, limitations and knowledge. Sometimes it’s hard to eat healthy and have a food conscience. When people eat a salad, and say, “I feel different” That’s 100% mental placebo. My next blog I’ll be sharing a personal "superfood" I know is effective!
